Raporting live from Capetown

I guess it's time to start write in the blog so u people home who don't use facebook (do u even exist??) get to know that we're alive.

We arrived to capetown this thursday and since then we hava been getting to know the other volonteers, been at several sightseeings round capetown, taking pictures everywhere, met a lot of new cool people and so on and on and on.

Sofie and I live at a Backpackerplace. The volonteerhouse was full so they put us there.
It's a nice place but we rather had been living with the people we are going to spend the next 9 weeks with and get to know then instead.

We're starting to work tomorrow.
Everybody says that Constantia, the place where the ridingschool is, is the most beautiful place in the whole town.
Theres winegards and mountains and lots of animals everywhere.
THOUGH... the volonteers who has been here for a while says it's fucking freaking boring and only filled with old people!
So, we're gonna live there this week and see hos it is and if it is as bad as our friends say we gonna ask if we can move in to town and take the train to Constantia every day instead.
We'll see :)

Today we went out hiking with picnics.
We were very serious when we took our backpacks and started to walk.
Too sad the driver left us at the wrong side of the forrest and that it would have taken like 2 hours to get to the waterfall we were going to go to.
So, we found a flood on the map and started to walk there, to take a bath and eat our food.
When we got there the flood were'nt.
It was dried out, just as we were about to too.
So, Kennedy (our driver, kitchenchef, all in all-person) came with the car and drov us to the beach instead.
First time there and it was very nice!
The water was freezing cold though, but it almost always is here, they say.
No sharks where we were, thank god.
A man was eaten up in the beginning of this week.
It was the first thing i was told when they met us at the airport and i almost shit my pants.
But i made a promise to myself that i HAVE TO go sharkdiving during my time here.
It will probably be cool, i hope. If i don't die.

The people here are great!
For example now, I guy sitting next to me at the internetcafe. He hear me talking swedish to Sofie and when she's gone he start to talk to me, telling that he used to live in sweden.
Blablabla, moving back here, making music, playing at clubs and things like that.
Then he adds me on facebook before he goes and says:
- We'll hook up then!
WITHOUT hitting on me! I love it!
And now, we're sharing room with 2 norwiegen (funny, i'v been living in norway for 3,5 years and can't spell that word) guys, darkskinned.
One of them laught really much about Sofie talking english to him when he spoke norska with her.
And when I came in today, knowing nothing, haven't seen him before, he talked to me in norska (yeayea), asking stuff and we started to chatt.
I asked him if he was from norway and he like:
-DO I LOOK LIKE I COME FROM NORWAY?!?!
Haha, and when a black guy say something like that to you you just don't know what to say!!
He was fooling my ass off! Told me he learned norska through a book named "stone by stone" and lots of other stuff.
Haha!

God, got to go! This make me poor!
Sorry for the bad english, can't stand the dots that come up when u press the wrong tab cause you're used to write the 3 last letters...
Hope you're fine home!
You'll hear from me :)

Frigiven.
